TurboTax Live Advisor



Right now I am one of the registered TurboTax live advisers. This is a program sponsored by Intuit, and run by keen.com. You can see the topics that I cover by visiting my home page on keen. Income Tax Preparation

If you prefer to have someelse doing your taxes, I can help as well. I am a certified tax preparer in California. What does this mean? It means that I am registered with the state of California and IRS to prepare someone else's tax for a fee. I am registered with CTEC (California Tax Education Council), completed the required education (initial training and yearly updates), and carry a $5000 surety bond (i.e. Business Insurance) that protect you from any of my mistakes and omissions.

I will be signing my name at the bottom of your returns, and can represent you with IRS regarding the returns. Don't get caught with someone who will do your return, but do not sign the return as paid tax preparer. You will be responsible for any mistakes that he or she makes!

I have experience with multi-state returns, returns with Schedule C (personal business), Schedule D (capital gain), and Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT). I have also done quite a few non-residence forms (1040NR). These are the returns that I had to file for years for myself, and I have done a lot of research one them to find the best possible filing for you.

Returns for tax year 2004 starts at $100 for 1040EZ, $150 for 1040 and 1040NR. These will be high quality returns at a lower price than what you can get at your neighborhood H&R Blocks. Email me for a quote and an early-bird coupon today!

Bookkeeping

I offer a book keeping service for small business in the San Francisco area. By small business, I mean businesses with less than 10 employees. I prefer to use QuickBooks, though I have used PeachTree as well. I work from home, and sends you the file or periodic reports. I can stop by at least once every other week to pick up and drop off any necessary documents. Again, I work with local businesses and professional to provide this service. I imagine that it will work over long distance as well by mailing the documents, though I have not done it before. Please email if you are interested.
