Start

Begin in a relaxed fighting position.

Step One

Turn your body 90 degrees away from your target while lifting your knee and pivoting on your supporting leg.

Step Two

Lift your knee, keeping your foot tucked close to your leg. .

Extend (snap) your lower leg outward with your toes pulled back while twisting your toes downward (contact with the heel of your foot).

Step Three

Retract your lower leg back so that your knee is bent.

Step Four

Land balanced in front.
