Kukiwon certification process
 
Essay  
  • 500 - 1000 words
  • benefits and/or drawbacks of Taekwondo being an Olympic sport

 
Form

 
Olympic sparring techniques  
  • Six WTF style fighting techniques 
  • Both slow speed execution, and full speed execution are required at the test
  • You choose which techniques to do
  

 
Breaks
  • Optional

 
Referee
  • must referee two fighters at the exam
  • 2nd class certification required
  • 1st class preferred

 
Fight
  • Two rounds - two minutes

 
Minimum time at previous belt level
  • Three years
