What search sites do you use frequently and why?

The nature of your work will affect your choices.

When no other choice is clearly better, we use the simple search from Google. To dig among web pages the choices are many. Google Advanced is often where we start.

When a directory is needed I'll use both the Open Directory and Yahoo. When searching for a business this front-end to several directories and another to yellow pages are convenient.

When perspective is needed about a subject, I start by using the About search and network or reviewers.
