For those of you who are visiting this sight for the first time, Rufus Wainwright was born in Montreal, Canada. His birthday is July 22, and I believe he will be 29 years old this July. His first album came out in May, 1998. It was self-titled and it received tons of great reviews. His latest album, 'Poses' was released on June 6, 2001. Much different from the first one, but uncomparable, it is absolutely beautiful. There is a different sound to it, but always that thread of Rufusesque style is there.
