Goodbye X-Files...

Note: This was written before it was discovered that the X-Files was going to run for an eighth season

I am writing in memory of The X-files. There is nothing that I want more than for the show to continue forever, but sadly that can't happen. I just want to remind all of the Philes out there that even though The X-Files might not come to us new each week, the show is still out there. Still there in all of the videos and in all of the great "stuff" you've most certainly collected through the past seven years. Still there every time that Scully says, " I don't know Mulder," and every time Mulder tells Scully to "just believe". The X-Files will be there for everyone who remembers Mulder's "girly scream" and will still be there for all of you who can't look at a Pomeranian with out thinking that his name should be Queequeg.

The X-Files has made a profound impact on all of us Philes, whether we realize it or not. Bees will always be scary, and the word "hybrid" will strike fear in our hearts. Only one show could do that for me, and when The X-Files says its final good-byes, sure I'll cry, but I know, that I can just watch the reruns of "Redux 2" and remember that even if it takes a miracle, and a little alien computer chip, that life goes on.

Thank you for seven wonderful years X-Files, I'll miss you.
