D Special 1970 Last update: 12/7/00 (EU) When I sit into my D Special, it opens the another world for me. It smells different - not like CX or GS, but just like my other D Special 1974. Maybe it's the smell of LHM oil or maybe it's the smell of sunburnt interior fabric... But both of the cars have got it the same way. The car's got chassis number 959 (along with original French ser. number) and has been originally painted in 421CO Bordeaux red with white roof. I've been tempted all the time to paint the roof on my car in black, but the summer sun is quite strong in Slovenia. So I've decided to put creamy white on the top and maybe the next year (when the car will get proper restoration) I'll paint the body in original Bordeaux - or even peach or menthol green instead...
