#1-ok, my first goo goo doll dream was when I dreamed I worked at a cd store, and one day the goo goo dolls came to my store! They all went to the 3rd floor and I acting very casual as if we were friends. Later, Robby took the elevator back down to the first floor, and It got stuck. I had to go rescuse him somehow and it was really wierd how I got in the elevator and picked up robby, carried him out and saved him. He was thanking me and I was like "no problem" then later the other goo's came down and left. KeWl!
another one of my dreams...
Last night I had a dream with John Rzeznik...which is just about my 15th from all the others, but this one was really moving. I was in this house with him, and he was talking to this other girl. I guess he and this girl were friends, so I felt kinda left out, but then she left. In the dream Johnny and I had known eachother since we were kids, and we had been in love for years. I knew this because I kept having these flashblacks. But I guess we were sorta almost breaking up because I wasn't talking to him almost at all and we sorta forgot about eachother. I really really missed him so much, so I made him a paper that said "I love John Rzeznik" ..weird. I gave it to him, and then kissed him on the cheek. He thought it was really sweet and got really sentimental. He hugged me and then I started crying and said "Johnny....do you still love me??". He was so close to me and I could tell he missed me too, he also looked like he was gonna cry. Then I said "please Johnny please..don't say no..don't say no" and he softly kissed me and said "Of coarse I do". It was really emotional and I felt like he was the only thing that mattered to me in the whole world. Then he let go and walked away and I felt a whole lot better, and that was the end. I guess this sort of symbolizes how I have forgotten the goo goo dolls for so long, but even though I love them to death, and I'm never gonna feel something so special with any other band.
Shine Goo's Dream
I dreamed that I was at a restaurant with my family eating dinner. It was a very nice, ritzy restaurant (but there was no one else there but my family). And Johnny was my waiter. The Goo Goo Dolls were either broken up or mad at each other (heaven forbid!!!) and so Johnny had to get a job as a waiter and he was very pissed. He kept clanking our plates down and spilling our drinks and being totally rude. He didn't look at anyone either because he was practically crying. Luckily my family didn't know who he was! But I did and I was trying to decide weather I should say something to him to comfort him or keep my mouth shut. (I also wanted his autograph but I decided that I better not ask.) My brother had ordered something that was supposed to have meat and a salad together on the plate but the cook messed up and put them on two separate plates. My parents complained to Johnny and Johnny was so pissed that he just picked up my brother's lettuce
with his bare hands and dumps the meat (I think it was probably chicken) onto the other plate and puts the lettuce on top of it. My whole family starts yelling at Johnny who runs over to the booth area of the restaurant and hides. The manager or head cook or someone important comes running out with all of the other employees to see what's the matter. My dad tells me and my mom and brother to leave and so my brother and mom get out. I went into the little hallway to the bathrooms (to ditch my mom and brother and so my dad wouldn't see me) and Robby's there. I'm like "Robby, do you know how pissed Johnny is, he's like crushed. How do we get him to come back to life and get the GGD back together?" and Robby's like "I don't know, I've tried everything!" Then we hear this big crash and we look around the corner and my dad has knocked over the table. Johnny is still hiding in the booth and everyone had seemed to have forgotten about him. I tell Robby that I'm going to try to talk to Johnny and that he should wait for me to come back. So, I run across the room (which is like a war zone) to the booth where Johnny is. He's just sitting there staring off into space. I decide it would be better if I act like I don't know who he is. So I say to him "Excuse me sir, It's lonely where you are come back down." (quote from "Name"). He looks at me and starts sobbing. I ask him if he would like a hug and he says "yes, please" (so polite!) so we sit there in the booth hugging for a while and he finally quits crying and we let go. I was wearing a really nice shirt and it is totally soaked from his tears and he starts telling me how sorry he is that he ruined my shirt. I tell him that it's okay and ask him if he wants to talk to me. He says "no, but I have to find my friend Robby, because I'm lost without him." I say that he should "go to the bathroom and clean up first" (remember Robby is waiting for me in the bathroom hall) so Johnny says okay and thanks me a million times for helping him and says he's sorry for ruining my shirt. (I'm thinking "I'm never gonna take this shirt off again!") I tell him your welcome and to not worry about my shirt. then he says "I love you and I will thank you someday." gives me a nother little hug and walks off to the bathroom. I'm just sitting there in a daze and I look around and everyone is gone but they left a huge mess! I'm wondering where my family and the restaurant employees are when all of a sudden Mike comes out of no where and tries to tell me something. Unfortunately my alarm is going off and I wake up! I remember that he was smiling so I think it was good news! I just wish that I could have heard what it was instead of the buzzing alarm!
Another Shine Goo's Dream
After seeing the Goo concert in Des Moines, Iowa on August 15, 1999 (which totally ROCKED ON!) I dreamed this. . . Wait, you should know that I went with my Uncle Keith (who doesn't really like the Goos) to the concert and the Iowa State Fair and then I stayed at his house overnight after the concert) Okay the dream. . .
My uncle and I were in his house watching the end of a baseball game (my uncle loves baseball!) and we were going to go to the store or somewhere after the game was over. We got all ready and opened the front door to go outside. The Goo Goo Dolls were on his front porch/lawn! I amazingly didn't freak out and kinda said "hi". My uncle goes "Who are you guys and what are you doing here!?" like kinda mean but not totally. So I say "Uncle Keith, don't you recognize them? We saw them last night!" when I say this Johnny, Robby and Mike smile! and my uncle goes "no" he didn't recognize them (which is understandable since our seats at the concert were pretty far away). So I say "it's the Goo Goo Dolls!" to my uncle and then I asked them how long they had been standing outside my uncle's house. Johnny replies "not long." so I say "why didn't you ring the door bell and come in?" and Johnny says "because we were scared to" and I said "oh" then my uncle says "come on, Kara, we gotta go" and we leave.
When I woke up I ran to the front door. . .no Goos, BUMMER!
Lebongirrl's Dream
I had a dream that Johnny and I were working on a t.v. show. We
were crew people. Johnny had to run some errand, and he asked me if I'd
go with him. We were walking for a long time just chatting about nothing
and he grabbed my hand. So, we get to the place we were supposed to be.
It was like a big warehouse. John looks down at me (he seemed sooo tall
as I looked up at him)
He leans in and kisses me. Oh what a kisser! Then he said "I'll be back"
He went inside this warehouse and he kept looking out at me smiling a
goofy smile. The we start walking back to our job. We're holding hands
again. We got back and he goes inside while I wait again.... Then before
he could come back for me my cat jumps on me and Meeeeeoooow!!
Johnny dissapears! Darn cat!!
