Herbs, Myths and Magic

This page is being set up for my mother who is a LPN III and was a Trauma specialist in the army. I am also am a consultant, I was manager of a General Nutrition Centers store.  This page will contain information on helpful herbs, herbs in the news and how to grow you own herbs at home.Medical information reguarding homeopathic medicine and understanding your health care professionals. Gardening information and recipes to share and enjoy.

Many medications are based on an herbal preparation,that in all actuality were originated in early folk lore, and passed down from mother to daughter, and on occasion a journal may have been kept. However it came about, and through the persecution/ and banning. Some of these wonderful traditions were lost or put asunder. People that used these preparations were considered witches because the medicines and healing aides were not conventional. Alas they had to keep the secrets of helping others with what mother earth has provided as quiet as possible. Today modern medicine has recognised and adopted the true healing abilities of herbal preparations. Native Americans used the land for it's bountful resources. Dyes, healing properties, Jewelery,pottery,tools, and enchanting tales of the spiritual essences to behold.

All things have a Spirit

This encompasses trees,plants,rocks,mountains,animals,each being of Divine Creation of Our Heavenly Father, and deserving our utmost respect and care,love and concern. Each treasure was placed on this place we call home,is for us. Each to be measured and used with good sense.. All that we borrow from Mother Earth , we must put back, and take care that she is not neglected or abused. We also need to take care of one another through easy and difficult times. Plants, animals,children, and elderly folks. Reach into your heart and soul and pull out all of the love that you possess, and sprinkle it around your world. Hold them in your arms and dreams, and let them know that you care. In return the earth will shower you with knowledge. You will be blessed each day with love and a more enriched understanding of the world around you.
