Following this link, check out the website added for Patricia Polacco's homepage. Her books make a
nice author study for grade 4. Even though they are cataloged E, 4th graders can have a lively discussion and use her
web site to learn more about her. We especially enjoyed Thank you, Mr. Falker. The children are writing thank you
letters to their teachers after reading and discussing this story. We had a good discussion about how teasing
hurts other children. We E-mailed the author with questions and received a response.
