Sometimes simplicity is the key to fun things. I've thought it would really be nice to have an Ami car. And here they are - two Ami8s. Acquired at price DEM 30,- each (however, I paid DEM 150,oo for the towing service). One with really good engine and gearbox, but rotten to death and the other with seized engine (10 years standing still) and only 10,000 miles (16,000 km) on the clock. Some facts deny that, but many parts look almost as new. This car was found in the middle of the lawny yard and has spent some years in the open, so the weather has contributed its own to the condition of the car in spite of the low mileage.
I'm sure they (both BREAKS - the second and third in a row, the near perfect sedan belongs to a friend) will make one good car out of two...

LATER ON:
Unfortunately, these Ami8s didn't make it. I've been very busy at that time and they were standing in the street. I scraped the first one, preserving the engine and parts. The cityguards' towing service took the other away, but I managed to salvage many of usable parts. Click on blue underlined text to find out more about that...
