My musical Preferances.
Throughtout my life, Music has had one of the biggest impacts and influences on me of anything.
Here listed for your viewing pleasure are the bands I think completely kick ass and are just the best out there!
*Note* You will -not- catch me listening to any boyband or Pop related singer in general. I just don't accept any "bands" that do not
even play their own instruments. It's not my idea of music. No offense to all of you mainstream people out there.
First, of course, is my favorite band of all time, GARBAGE.
I, as you may have inferred from other pages on my site, find Garbage to be
an outstanding example of one kikass group. Ya can't get any better than them! Also, their very cool lead singer, Shirley Manson
has had the biggest influence on me since I first heard #1 Crush. She is so amazing!! She not only is incredibly talented, but Beautiful AND down to earth!
She is so proud and lowers her standards for no one. I have learned much from her about being myself and accepting that, and I thank her.
I am lost. So I am cruel. But I'd be love and sweetness, if I had you.
Next, a band that I have a huge amount of respect for and truly miss is Nirvana.
A timeless group, most everyone knows of or has heard of Kurt Cobain and his tragic stricken story.
Noted as one of the best rockers of the decade, Kurt and Nirvana introduced us to the world of Grunge music
and paved the way for countless bands to come, straight of Seattle. A town misfit, Kurt was determined and was tired of
the cheesy, electronicaly altered and lyrically challenged tunes coming out of the 80's and was ready for the change.
I know Nirvana has impacted me, and although Kurt has gone, his music still lives with many of us today.
