The Law of faith

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. (Romans 3:27)

      I. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1).
       A. Now faith is the substance…
            1.Now FAITH…!
            2. "….is the substance…"
               a. åBà (one ) Probably from the same as ïeä (hoon) (in the sense of effort, but successful); ability, power,       (figuratively) wealth:-force, goods, might, strength, substance.
               b. Greek: ›ðüóôáóéò (hoop-os'-tas-is ) From a compound of and; a setting under (support), that is, (figuratively)       concretely essence, or abstractly assurance objectively or (subjectively):-confidence, confident, person, substance.
            3. "…of things hope for..;"
       a. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life (Proverbs 13:12).
        b. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation Produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us (Romans 5:3 N.K.J.V.).
c. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance (Romans 5:4).
d. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek (Hebrew 6:19).
B. "…the evidence of things not seen."
3. What is the evidence?
4. Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrew 4:14-16).
5. Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:20-23).
6. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Eph.3:20)..,

II. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
A. We cannot come to God, unless we believe that he is what he has revealed himself to be in the Scripture. Those who would find God must seek him with all their heart.
B. " …,for he who comes to God must believe that He is..,"
1. He is the Great I AM!
2. He is JEHOVAH
a. My righteousness b. My sanctification
c. My shepherd
d. My Healer
e. My Peace
f. My Banner
g. My Protector
h. Who is There
i. My God who take care of my need's.
3. Jesus the Christ
4. the Spirit of God!
C. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him…
7. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Roman 12:1,2).
8. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33).
9. Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed (Roman 3:20-25)…,
10. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast (Eph. 2:8).

III. Where is boasting then? It is excluded by what law of works? Nay: but by the law of faith (Romans 3:27).

IV. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).
A. So then faith comes by hearing…
1. G189 PêïÞ (ak-o-ay' )From G191; hearing (the act, the sense or the thing heard):-audience, ear, fame, which ye heard, hearing, preached, report, rumor. 2. Pêïýù (ak-oo'-o ) A primary verb; to hear (in various senses):-give (in the) audience (of), come (to the ears), ([shall]) hear (-er, -ken), be noised, be reported, understand. B. ..,and hearing(understanding) by the word of God. V. Conclusion: Simply Put Do you really have faith, or is it fear? For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7). A. Define the word Power:- äýíáìéò ( doo'-nam-is ) From G1410; force (literally or figuratively); specifically miraculous power (usually by implication a miracle itself):-ability, abundance, meaning, might (-ily, -y, -y deed), (worker of) miracle (-s), power, strength, violence, mighty (wonderful) work. 1. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." 2. And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak, 3. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SPIRIT OF FAITH, AND IS MOVED BY THE LAW OR (PRINCIPLE) OF FAITH! B. So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the Lord of hosts. C. Faith is the power that is moves the spirit of God, which is the Holy Spirit. The power of God operates the Law (principle) of Faith! D. But what work's Faith? This answer when we meet again…
