LOSING DIANA - Poem

"Queen of Hearts"

Her loving eyes, her brilliant smile,
We've known them well for quite a while,
A mother, a wife, a fairy tale princess,
A fantasy life filled with much duress.

Many adored her childlike way,
As she lived her life from day to day,
Amidst the strain and stress of life,
And paparazzi running strife.

Ne'er more shall we feel her tender touch,
Or share the pain she bore so much,
A princess and a lady too,
An angel with a heart so true.

She leaves behind two growing boys,
Whose lives she filled with love and joy,
A confidante and friend was she,
A loving Mum, you must agree.

The time has come to say goodbye,
To an angel we did glorify,
Your death has torn our lives apart,
Farewell dear Princess, Queen of Hearts.
