Taxpayers are angry over the town's high tax rate. Stow has the highest tax rate when compared to other towns such as Concord, Dover, Sudbury and Weston.   Voice your opinions in the Message Forum.

A new "Attractions" sign on Interstate 495 North- and South-bound directs motorists to Stow's golf courses and area orchards.  The sign was installed by MassHighway and is part of Gov. Cellucci's plan to make Massachusetts  more navigable.

Summer, 2000

The Stow Police Department has recently leased a brand new police motorcycle.
The motorcycle will be used for traffic control as well as for special town events such as parades or at festivals.  Look for the new bike today!

Boy Scouts from Stow asked the board of Selectman to designate an official town flag.  Stow does not have an official flag and is not represented in the Great Hall in the Massachusetts State House.  Design proposals are now being accepted at the Town Clerk's office until June 14 - Flag Day.
