Life of Brian

Welcome to my Web Page. My name is Brian, and I am a 22 year old Electrical Engineer. Now that I am out of college, I finally have the time and money to pursue some recreational activities. My list of hobbies currently includes: scuba diving, flying, sky diving, boxing and snow boarding.

While still in college, I took a scuba diving course and now hold an Advanced Certification. In March 2001, I went to Cozumel, an island a few miles off the coast of Cancun, for Spring Break. In the picture to the left, we were 80 feet below the surface on a rock wall. In the picture to the right, I was inside a decomissioned Navy minesweeper that was sunk in 70 feet of water.

The first activity I got into after college was obtaining my private pilot license. It took about 7 months to obtain my license. The picture to the right is me next the Cessna 152 that I flew on my first solo flight. Click Here for Aerial Photos I have taken while flying.

During the summer of 2001, My brother and I went sky diving at North Central Airport in Lincoln, Rhode Island. The guy on my back is Serge "The Mad Russian" who is one of the Jump Masters at Boston-Providence Skydiving Center. We exited the plane at 10,000ft AGL and fell at 120mph for 30 seconds before opening the canopy. Click on the picture to see more sky diving pictures.

Here is a picture of my three new kittens. My girlfriend and I rescued them from life in a dumpster. At first, they had nasty dispositions and would hiss and spit, but now they have become accustomed to domestic life and are quite well behaved.

While in college, I took a class in java and wrote a few applets. Check them out at the following link: Determines Day of Week for a given Date
