"On the other hand, Reich goes too far in the other direction making sex so central. Maybe repression is still a big problem for kids, but the sickness in our society is not mainly caused by things Reich was worried about. It's caused by power being intertwined with sex."

--that what Reich says is that sick power is caused by the inability to experience sexual gratification.

Reich attempted to identify a sex "force" that motivates people to fuck and procreate. This force, per Reich's view, would be a biological force, or at least a force that interacts strongly with the human biology; incidentally, and possible without his knowledge, he identified the kundalini. Does MIM assume that there exists a separate force that motivates people to acquire power, or that power is acquired by accident?

Consider healthy, natural animals (not a human being), for example, a pack of non-domesticated dogs. A hierarchy is built in the pack of dogs that lends itself easily to the human inter-preta-tion of power. But, in colder blood, why would a male in that pack acquire power? The answer is quite simple: it is a question of most convenient access to females. Or, to put it differently, the acquisition of power in a pack of dogs is a direct consequence of the urge to procreate. When the male dog's sexual desire has been satisfied, there is little sexual drive in the male dog and the animal has little interest in "gathering" more females.

Much of man would have been like the dogs in terms of power, if it were not because for reasons hidden in esoteric doctrines s/he is incapable of experiencing a free-flowing kundalini. As Reich explains, the repressed kundalini turns a person's very biology against hirself, turning the person's entire biological foundation upside-down. The never ceasing desire for sex in the male person cannot be satisfied, and the desire for easy access to females is never balanced by biological access. (With biological access I mean having sex and actually GETTING OFF othen than just ejaculating.) Thus, a male person incapable of getting an orgasm requires access to females, but will never be able to satisfy his desires. His desire to "gather" females consequently never ceases--and you have someone who is power-hungry. This desire for power is caused by repressed sex.
