1. Remove the securing screws that hold the triangle backing plate. remove the backing plate and set it aside.
2. Fold your flag into a triangle shape and place it into the Flag case and gently press it flush against the glass. ****** DO NOT PUSH TOO HARD ***** ensuring that the points of the triangle reach into the corners. Ideal folding will measure 15" x 15" x 22."
View the picture of the flag case for reference.
3. An alternative method is to cut a piece of stiff cardboard into a triangle shape and place the field of stars over the cardboard and insert into the Flag case. Fold the remaining portion of the flag into a triagle and place it into the reccess area.
3a. Replace the backing plate and screws.
One star on the top row.
Two stars on the second row.
Three stars on the bottom row.
All stars should be pointing up.
One star on the top row.
Two stars on the second row.
Three stars on the third row.
Four stars accross the bottom.
All stars should be pointing up.
NOTE: The 5' x 9' American flag will show six stars.
The 3' x 5' American flag show ten stars.
