2000 Toronto Maple Leafs Transactions

February 9-Acquired center Darcy Tucker, a fourth-round draft pick in 2000 and an option to exchange conditional mid-round picks in 2001 from the Tampa Bay Lightning for right wing Mike Johnson and defenseman Marek Posmyk.

February 8-Assigned left wing Kris King to Chicago of the International Hockey League.

February 3-Removed forward Kris King from the active roster and assigned him to the minors; added defenseman Gerald Diduck to the roster.

February 2-Sent defenseman Nathan Dempsey to St. John's of the American Hockey League.

January 28-Agreed to terms with free agent defenseman Gerald Diduck; assigned defenseman Nathan Dempsey to St. John's of the American Hockey League.

January 13-Recalled defenseman Nathan Dempsey from the St. John's Maple Leafs of the American Hockey League.

January 9-The Maple Leafs sign LW Wendel Clark to a contract on Sunday contingent on him being in shape to play for the team.
