This is the sign near the walkway where Indira Gandhi took her last steps. It says:"PATHWAY--THE LAST FEW METRES OF INDIRA GANDHI'S WALK HAVE BEEN COVERED WITH CRYSTAL SUGGESTING A RIVER IN FLOW. A SHEET OF CLEAR GLASS MARKS THE SPOTS WHERE SHE FELL. INDIRA GANDHI WAS ASSASSINATED ON OCTOBER 31, 1984." (02 August 2002)
