This is the back of the Mubarak Mahal. It is made of sandstone and is known as the Welcome Palace. It was built by Madho Singh II in 1900. It is now the textile and costume gallery of the museum. Inside the textile gallery is a huge robe that belonged to Madho Singh I who was 2 meters (about 7 feet) tall and weighed about 230 kg (about 500 lbs)! (27 July 2002)
