At Jaigarh Fort they have the world's largest cannon on wheels. This is that cannon, the Jai Van. It was cast in 1726. The barrel is about 20 feet long. The cannon was only ever shot once, and that was a test shot when it was first made. The cannonball was about 11'' in diameter. I forget how far they said it went, but it was miles. Jaigar Fort was never attacked, so the cannon never needed to be used. (27 July 2002)
