I don't remember specifically what these buildings all were, but they are all ruins that remain at the Qutb Minar Complex/Park in New Delhi. It is similar to walking around the Roman Forum in Rome and looking at the old ruins (not quite that old though--most of these I think are from the 13th century).
There were several of these arches. This wasn't the tallest one, but the tallest complete one still standing. You can see how small Venk is in comparison to the arch. (25 July 2002)
