When Venk and I left Krishna Temple, we went to the Qutb Minar Complex in New Delhi. This is just a plaque at the complex that describes the minar and that it is a monument of India.
The Qutb Minar was built by Qutbuddin Aibak, and completed by his successor, Iltutmish. It was started in 1193 AD to announce the advent of the Muslim Sultans. Other buildings were added to the complex by later rulers. (25 July 2002)
