This is Venk outside the entrance to the temple. The alters at which you pray have guilded doors that cover them. They are only opened at certain times of the day for worship. We got there just as they were closing the 3 alters, so we just got a glimpse of them. The gold doors in the center background were just closed when this photo was taken. You can see someone kneeling facing the 3rd alter (out of view), that was still open, in the center of the photo. (25 July 2002)
