line of stars

JMF - a.ka. "J." My fiance. He's a lover, brother, sister, friend, soul partner, roommate. Our relationship is passionate when we both love and fight. We're planning a wedding for May 2002. How we met is interesting.

The Aspire - a.k.a. Rollerskate. She is my getaway mobile. I've informally named her the "Siberian Streaker" after Erin and my January activity.

Andrea - Though we lived together in college and then after I graduated, she turned into a bitch after she got engaged in January 2000. She took J. and I to court in August 2000, and we haven't spoken since.

Sunshine - creative, sweet, eight-year-old and my sister. She's cute and smart.

D. - Guitar-playing, poetry-writing, dream-interpreting, ever-supportive brother.

Dad, Nancy, Mom, Rob - The parental units and their significant others. Dad and Nancy got married in September, and I have nothing to say about that. Mom and Rob are getting married in January 2001.

The Old Regime - The years before my parents got divorced (1976-1995). Phrase coined by D.

Erin - a.k.a Bitch. Erin is my closest, closest friend. She lives an hour away, so I spend most of my time missing her.

Rachel - We spent most of our junior high school Friday and Saturday nights sleeping over each others' houses and trying to stay awake to watch Saturday Night Live. She's like a sister to me, especially because she was at my house when my mom took the pregnancy test and, hence, Sunshine.

Cate - my roommate during the "college years." We always said, "we come as a package deal," even though we we're incredibly different.

Tom - Cate's shopping buddy, laughing partner, good friend and you'd think they were related. She wanted to hop in bed with him all through college. Flash to summer 2000, Tom is "out of the closet."

Ants- the 3-brain-celled roommates during my senior year.

Jill - A friend with whom I had cut off all contacts until May 1998. We are now building our friendship again.
