My Backstreet Boys Concert Review

Hey everyone!!!! as you all probably know, I saw the guys in concert at the Tropicana Field.. on February 24th, 2000. The show was amazing.. I had an awesome time... here's how it went..... We got there around 5... and I visited with a DJ from a radio station down here. We did that till like 5:20 then we got in line to get in the building.... we waited in line until about 6:45... then when they let us in, I got a t-shirt, and a glow stick! (hehe) but anyways, so then we found our seats and the first opening act came out... they were 2 guys that went by the name of "Jungle Boys"..... yeah, well.. they sucked... in my opinion... then... another act came out and I am not sure who it was...people have told me that it was a girl called Manda, or Amanda...had all girl dancers..... she said her name but I couldn't hear... anyways, she was really good! so anyways, in one part of the venue that I was at.. there was like a black tunnel leading to the stage that the guys were going to come out of.. well... all these girls were peeking through then started screaming.. so I was like oh my god here they come!!!! and then I saw a hand peek out and I freaked out, LOL!! anyways, about 10 minutes later... they lifted out of the black tunnel thing and they were on their surf board things.. that was really cool! so then they sang larger than life... when they first came out I had tears in my eyes.. I was so happy it was like a dream come true! I really don't remember the order of the songs..but I know that when they did the perfect fan, they pulled mothers and daughters out of the audience..and then they started singing to them on stage... I couldn't deal with it and I cried the whole song... it was hard for me because I haven't seen my mom in 3 years. I just wished that she could have been there with me.. but anyways, on a happier note, when they sang one of the songs.. I forget which one... Kevin played the piano.. that was cool! During another song (I can't remember which one) they had these things coming out of the stage on each side, the 5 different side... it was a pole thing with bars coming out both sides... so they sat on it and AJ was goofing around on it. It was cute. Then on another song they were on cables.. they were swinging around.. AJ did flips and he was just being silly. It was so adorable! They sang as long as you love me, larger than life, I want it that way, back to your heart, I'll be the one, show me the meaning, its gotta be you, I'll never break your heart, thats the way I like it, we've got it goin on, everybody, don't want you back, don't wanna lose you now, spanish eyes, no one else comes close, all I have to give, get down (I think...I cant remember) but then at the end when they were introducing the band, AJ just stood in the middle of the band... they formed a circle and he stood in the middle and danced, and goofed around.. it was sooo cute! then Brian had a basketball and he was bouncing that up there with Kevin.... AJ was dancing up there and oh my god!!!! it was so cute! he ripped his shirt off during one of the songs I just about died! my god! Then after that hey all came out with Tampa Bay Devil Rays jerseys on and AJ has his open.. ohh baby! At one point at the end of the concert they had confetti everywhere and they dropped balls on one side of the field... not mine! (I think they were supposed to drop on my side but it didn't work) I had an awesome time. I definitely gotta get tickets when they come back again... I had pretty good seats... not floor ones but the first level.. I didn't need my binoculars. Well, that's it!
