FTW World Heavyweight Title
Sabu came to Eastern Championship Wrestling in 1993. With him he brought Tables. He was soon picked up by Paul. E, who soon managed Sabu to be the ECW Champion. In 1994, when ECW transformed into Extreme Championship Wrestling, Sabu was having a heated feud with Benoit and Sabu ended up with a broken neck. Being a manic though, Sabu continued to wrestle, wearing a neck brace. Sabu next formed the Dangerous Alliance - he joined the Tazmaniac to become tag-team champions. Over time, the Alliance fell apart and Sabu left for WCW, where he was on the very first Nitro. 4 matches later, and he was sacked for being too violent, and November to Remember 95 saw him return to ECW. Tazmaniac, now called Taz, managed by Bill Alfonzo, had a year long feud with Sabu - and then came a newcomr to ECW in 1996 - Rob Van Dam. A new feud began, which led to them forming a tag-team. During 1997, Sabu beat Terry Funk in the USA's 1st ever barbwire match and he became the ECW World Heavyweight Champion for 8 days, when Shane Douglas beame champ at Hardcore Heaven 97. Early 1998, and Sabu was due to face Bam Bam Bigalo for the ECW Television Title, but Rob Van Dam beat him to it and won the title. this caused Sabu and RVD to feud with each other - but they were not the only feuding team. The tag-team champions, Lance Storm and Chris Candido hated each other, and the match of RVD and Storm VS. Sabu and Candido was set.
During the match, Sabu and RVD united against the champions and eventually, Sabu became a tag-team Champion for the 2nd time. The next title to be won by Sabu was the FTW World Title - Taz's title, which Taz won back at Living Dangerously 99. At Guilty as Charged 2000, it was Sabu VS. RVD, and Sabu lost and walked out of ECW. Sabu along with Taz, was one of only 2 people to hold all 4 belts in ECW history.
