FUNERAL PYRE

from the Pyre to Eternity

Man was lost to this existance as soon as he passed through

Deaths door. His fellows held him high and remembered times past.

While others made ready the means of flight by piling high the fuel

that would send him on his way. The heat would transform and release

the essence of the Spirit, Freeing it to rejoin the void and cleanse

the Soul. As the flames burn and the heat rises toward the sun,

a spark of timeless energy reaches for home.
