What Is Associated Medical Resources?

It all started following publication of the how-to book
"Relax! It's Only Your Doctor's Waiting Room, Not the E.R.: Or How to Get Along With and Understand Your Doctor" by Marvin Ackerman, M.D. after being advised that funds were not available for marketing and distribution due to financial problems experienced by the publisher. Aware that self-publishing, rather than his contracted conventional publishing, is considered taboo in the industry, the doctor decided to form a loose cooperative profit-based venture with the publisher and a marketing agency using his already existent Associated Medical Resources Company.
Since then this "quid pro quo" arrangement attracted a patent lawyer willing to provide his services in exchange for a percentage of the revenue from inventions he helped patent, contract lawyers necessary for drawing up the binding arrangements between participants in a project, and the director of a well known university masters program interested in providing externships for his graduate students. Several authors have expressed a strong interest in publishing and marketing their books through the organization and one well known website has decided to take advantage of the system in order to obtain articles relevant to its family theme.Check it out
So, where do you come in? Since our new concept is based on a loosely organized system, we have the distinct advantage of being able to accept any new contributor or venture, if the probability of earning revenue from it appeals to us, and it is acceptable to the desired participants. For any venture, only those who are direct contributors are entitled to a percentage of the overall AMRCO profits based on a negotiated contractual arrangement. For example, someone who wishes to market a new product would first be accepted by AMRCO, then offered a negotiated percentage-of-profit contract. This might include access to website production and hosting, a marketer, a legal adviser, etc. Therefore, no upfront funds would be involved other than those derived from sources outside the company.
You may also join AMRCO from the other side of the coin. If you have capabilities that might be beneficial to us, similar to our marketer, publisher, etc., be sure to let us know. For example, our book and article authors would be thrilled to have a literary agent join our organization, and we certainly would welcome a venture capitalist or angel investor who is willing to help fund some of our ventures without insisting on an upfront percentage of the seed funds from the company.
