Dad,
For as long
as I can
remember,
you have
been the man
I've looked up to
and admired.
You've
always worked
so hard,
always
putting your
family
first.
It wasn't
easy, but somehow, you
always
managed to
make ends
meet.
I may not
have been a
child who
had
"many
'material
things",
but I had
more riches
in having
you for a
Dad, than
all the
treasures in
the
world!
Whether I
was
frightened,
scared or
perhaps
apprehensive
in taking a
certain
path, you
would always
help me, as
we talked it
through.
You had a
knack of
putting
things in
their proper
perspective.
I would then
receive a
reassuring
hug and
believe me
Dad, your
hugs were
the best
medicine in
the
world.
I think they
were the
"cure
all" to
any emotion
I might be
experiencing.
Your love for
me was so apparent.
You cheered
my
victories,
as you were
my biggest
fan and
helped me
through my defeats, as
you were
also my
pillar of
strength.
.You never
criticized
or judged me.
You
stood by any
decision I
decided to
make
and
only voiced
your opinion
in the
negative, if
you felt that
I was making a
mistake. I can
remember so
many of the
special
moments we
shared and
I've known
since I was
old enough to
remember.....that
I have the
most special
Dad in the
world.
Time may pass
and our lives
may change,
but Dad,
my love for
you only grows
stronger with
each passing
day You
are still a
very
important
man in my life
and
I love you
more than
words can ever
say.
