Well, it didn't happen.... I was hoping to have our 30 thousandth visitor on my 30th birthday. Alas, two days later, and we're still only at 29,983 (or something like that). It seems I'm still as boring in my thirties as I was at 29. And much more boring than I was at 20. But, sometimes boring is better. ;-)

A little forward thinking courtesy of the Friday Five. What one thing are you most looking forward to . . . 1. ...today? Well, it's 10:37pm as I type this, so there's not much left for the day. I guess getting a good night's sleep. :) As for tomorrow, giving blood. I haven't done it in years since I passed out every time I tried, but I've given BIRTH since... how much can a needle bug me now?? 2. ...over the next week? My birthday!! I will be 30 next Friday! :) It's funny, people seem to think this is going to depress me, but I'm pretty excited about it. Every now and then I have a "holy crow, I'm HOW old??" moments, mostly when I realize it really has been over a decade since I was in high school thinking that part of my life would never end, but the actual flip into a new decade of life is a welcome change. 3. ...this year? Hrm. Learning to drive. (Hey, I might as well try again to talk myself into this one.) 4. ...over the next five years? Taking another nice long family vacation at some point during the next five years. 5. ...for the rest of your life? Just ONE thing?? I've no bloody idea. Retiring with enough money to enjoy it, I suppose, one hopes.
