I had something interesting to say here, I'm sure, but at this point, I just can say my throat feels like I'm gargling a mouthful of sand, my nose is neck-in-neck with some Kenyan in a race to see who can run more, and my feet are itchy.

I do hope you'll excuse my lack of substance in these circumstances. I could recommend a few good books if you feel gyped (is it okay to say that still?).

11 Rolls of film. *Eleven* rolls of film. $50 to develop. With some really great photos. But what in the world was I doing taking 11 rolls of pictures?? And now I have to pick a few favorites to enlarge, and pick which ones I'll scrapbook versus just putting in regular albums, and which ones to send to farflung relatives, and which ones to scan... it just goes on!

Remind me, next time I go on vacation, to limit myself to two pictures a day or something. ;)

We're home. Did you miss us? The cats sure did! 44 phone calls, an 8" stack of mail, and 500 emails did, as well, apparently. It's good to be loved, I suppose. We had a better time than I could have hoped for - only one big fight, out of the way the first night we were there (loooong story - and Gary would kill me if I publicized it!), Rowan was in a good mood most of the vacation, the weather was absolutely perfect - warm, but not too warm, sunny, bright... yum, yum! We got to swim, had a lovely condo (the free one), had a pretty nice hotel at Daytona Beach (for one heck of a cheap price - even if you DID have to buy your own dish soap... with a kitchenette... for which they charge $10 if you leave dirty dishes - do YOU see an evil money making scheme here? Or do YOU see the fear the people before you only "washed" their dishes by running them under water??), and as hoped, got to spend lots of time together.

Rowan is now four, and telling everyone she sees ("Hi! I'm four!"), even if they're not noticing she's alive. She's been wearing her Minnie Mouse ears since we bought them on the way home at the airport (the further north we got, the cuter people found them), and I have to admit, I wore my Eeyore headband to work tonight.

Now we jsut have to unpack, and get the 10 rolls of film developed!
