I remember a time ...

When I was not very sure...

When obstacles that faced me...

Seemed too overwhelming to endure.

But you wouldn't allow me to just give up..

you were my power of strength when I was weak.

You gave me inspiration to believe in myself...

Even when the road ahead seemed so bleak.

Suddenly there arrived a glint of hope...

And a shimmer of light peeked through...

But I knew it was more than the mid day sun...

For the ray of hope I saw reflected....

Was directed from within you.

For you were my sunshine...

through every storm when it would rain...

And helped me through the darkness ...

When I was carrying so much pain.

With you beside me I never once felt alone...

and I welcome the blessings of each new day.

You have given me the gift...the power of love...

and chased all my sorrows away.

Theres no way I could ever thank you...

but each day..in my own way, I'll try ...

And display All the love I feel.inside...

To you......as the years go by.

You were an angel sent to me from above...

And have taught me the meaning..
