How To Select An Agent

Selecting an agent is a matter of geography and chemistry.

Real estate is a business based upon knowing the local market, the history of housing, developments and community information. When selecting an agent to help you sell or buy a home, strongly weigh those who are most familiar with your neighborhood or town.

Secondly, selecting an agent depends upon the chemistry between parties where communication and information are easily exchanged. You need to feel comfortable with your agent and feel you can rely upon information they give you and the timeliness of it.

If you are a buyer, you will also need to decide if you would like a Buyer's agent or Seller's agent in your real estate search. Historically agents represented the sellers and their best interests. Now buyers in Massachusetts have the option of having their best interests represented in the real estate search and transaction through a Buyer's agent.

I'd be happy to act as your Seller's agent or Buyer's agent. My area of expertise is the Metrowest Boston area of Wayland, Weston, Lincoln and Sudbury. If you're searching for a home in another area, I can personally refer you to an excellent agent in your area. Please contact me by phone or email. I'd love to help you sell or buy your next home.
