You can get almost every computer job when you have your CIS degree. It has a variety of learning fields that you learn while taking the courses. You can get a job in Systems analysis and design, Database programming, Web programming, Applications software support and maintenance, Business applications programming, and many more. As you can see from the job list, most of the jobs are in Programming. You mostly study programming in this field, but you also study many other computer fields. So what does a CIS person do? They mostly solve problems to businesses that make them better and more efficient, and if you study more into security you will not only provide programs for the business but also make their business more secure from hackers.
You work up to 40 hours a week and may have to work at random times, that’s if something went wrong in the office and you have to fix it a-sap.
CIS people work either at a office or at home. Usually you will end up working at the office it self, but if you don’t feel like working at the office for some reason you can have the choice of working at home.
