We have recently been involved as consultants at Ericsson developing a little Bluetooth product call BLIP, a Linux-based Bluetooth server product. We were given the opportunity to buy prototypes boards from this project, and we are now offering these in a limited number.
We offer this prototype board that is typically very useful for evalutating uClinux on an embedded target.

The Bluetooth prototype board consists of Ericsson Bluetooth ROK 101 008 module mounted on a PCB, making it easy to access all connectors. The intention with this prototype board is to make it easy to add Bluetooth to existing embedded hardware, using simple wireup connections. Since the board also has an builtin antenna this board can very easily be fitted into e.g. an evaluation board for quick prototyping (in the smallest configuration you only have to connect four wires; VBAT, GND, UART TX and UART RX). The nominal range of the Bluetooth antenna is appr. 10 meters.

The prototype board is delivered without any software. See the Ericsson technical specification for details of Ericsson specific HCI commands, for e.g. baudrate change of UART interface.
