After the guard had left, the prince had begun to walk around the frightened earth female. He took in the strange features she possessed, the aqua blue hair, and matching eyes. He stopped for a moment to gaze into those eyes before he asked:
“ Do you know why you were brought here?”
Bulma shook her head in fear and confusion. All she knew was that they wanted her, but couldn’t figure out what such a powerful race would want with her. As if reading her thoughts the prince said:
“ Your race is very weak, yes, but your technology is far more advanced.” He paused and looked up at her to see if she completely understood what he was saying. She did and let him know what she thought of the situation.
“ If you think for one instant after everything you put me through that I am just going to bend to your every whim you’ve got another thing coming!” she stated quit firmly. The saiyan smirked before simply stating:
“ You act as if you have a choice. You will do as you are told if you value your life.”
With that said he turned on his heel and exited the room. Bulma collapsed on the floor and did the only thing she could do, cry. She was being held prisoner in order to help a race of aliens who had all but destroyed her home. Gathering control of her senses she went and laid on her bed trying to place why she felt as if she had met the prince before. She thought about it until she eventually drifted off to sleep.
It was impossible, but she was back on earth and in her home. Everything seemed different. Pictures of her and her family hung everywhere. However it wasn’t just her and her parents anymore. On closer inspection of one of the pictures she saw three extra people. Two appeared to be her children and the other quit possibly her husband. She gazed contently into the eyes of the man of her dreams, and then gasped in horror. Those eyes, she’d seen them before but where. Why were they haunting her? She tried to place the eyes with their rightful owner, when it finally hit her. The face of the saiyan prince came into vision on the picture and her dream instantly became a nightmare.
No longer was she on earth. Bulma couldn’t help but to stare wide eyed at her surroundings. The sky glowed of crimson red and she appeared to be in some sort of arena. The crowd around her cheered on the warriors fighting within the ring. One warrior had purplish shoulder length hair with aqua blue eyes; the other was completely bald with a neatly groomed mustache and dark coals for eyes. The purple haired warrior executed a perfect spinning back kick that sent his enemy flying out of the ring.
“Our son fights well for someone so young.” She recognized the raspy voice almost instantly and turned to see the prince staring at her.
“ Of course,” came another voice. “ He takes after you King Vegeta”
Vegeta, so that was his name. She began to scream but stopped when she felt someone shaking her from her dream.
Her eyes opened slowly adjusting to the dim light of her room.
“About time,” came a voice from the shadows.
“What do you want Vegeta? I told you I wasn’t doing anything for you!” she said in a pissed off tone.
“How do you know my name?” he asked from his hiding spot.
Realizing her mistake, Bulma slunk under the covers of her bed. Vegeta repeated his question to her as he advanced toward her hiding place. He reached out a gloved hand and took the covers down from her face.
“ I dreamt it,” she said quietly.
Vegeta didn’t know what to think of this. He had dreamt of her on many occasions and knew a great deal about her. Her name was Bulma Briefs, she was the president of Capsule Corporation back on earth, and from what he saw incredibly beautiful.
“And I thought it was only me,” he said. “Well, Bulma, it seems to me as if something is using us as pawns in its game.”
“How do you know my name?” she asked. “What’s going on?”
“The same way that you know mine. You’ll be moved more comfortable quarters shortly.” was all that he said before he left the room.
‘This just keeps getting better and better,” she thought sarcastically.
