Project Experinces

Node to Node :

A project involving the use of web services, by creating a SOAP message and sending it the web service running on BEA Web Logic server 8.1.

Blue bean :

Involved in the system enhancement and performance. This includes using technologies like:

Java, JSP, WebSphere, DB2, LDAP, XML and HTML.

Bean Awards:

· A loyalty points system management for blue bean users. Front end built using pure JavaScript and Server side JavaScript and then using JAVA for the middle tier. Iplanet, DB2, XML, LDAP and WebSphere are some of the technologies involved in the system.

· I was involved in building search facility feature of the system.

Merchant management system :

· A system used by Bluebean and Autopay users for management of their online merchants.

· Built the update and delete merchant part of the system. This involves technologies like: Java, DB2, Websphere, LDAP and XML.

Project Wolfgang:

· This is Standard bank group internet site (www.standardbank.co.za).

· The system included some subsystems or tools that needed to be build to maintain the site. The tools includes:

1. SiteServer - a tool I was building using server side JavaScript that would the required content on the screen template.

2. SiteManager – a Delphi built tool that I maintained and it was used to build the content.

MasterCard electronic system :

· This is a bluebean MasterCard electronic service whereby customers would be notified via sms of their account status. In addition, a tool was required for the users to be able to some enquiries on sms’s and the status.

· I was the only developer of the system with the help of the technical specialist I worked with.

· The system includes the following technologies: Java, JSP, DB2, XML, WebSphere and LDAP.

Standard bank Offshore Internet banking : (alignment)

· The exercise of the project was to incorporate the system into the new architecture whereby the Jakarta STRUTS technology was introduced as the presentation layer.

· I was involved in profile update and inter-account transfers.

· The technologies include, Jakarta STRUTS, XML, TOMCAT, JSP, JAVA, WEBSPHERE, DB2, and LDAP.

Standard bank Offshore Internet banking : (grouping)

· This is the addition of some new functionalities on system, and I was involved in amend user rights, profile update, delete pending transactions and an end of day transactions delete.

· The technologies include, Jakarta STRUTS, XML, TOMCAT, JSP, JAVA, WEBSPHERE, DB2, and LDAP.
