Finally, Mark Prior, no. 22, pitcher for the Chicago Cubs, comes back in action, playing his first game in the Major Leagues against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Unfortunately for him, Prior lost that game by a score of 2-1. On the bright side, though, Prior did not get a loss for that game. Pretty good start for a pitcher who suffered rehab because of an injury to his achilles tendon during Spring Training. |

Imagine yourself driving a stock car. (For all you people who are not intelligent in these kinds of terms, a stock car is a car used for racing in the NASCAR series.) Then imagine yourself crossing the finish line. Then imagine yourself noticing that you were the first person to cross the finish line. Then imagine yourself thanking God for just winning the Winston Cup. (Again, for all you people who are not intelligent in these kinds of terms, The Winston Cup is the championship for the NASCAR series.) Then imagine yourself driving around the track once more so the fans could cheer for you as you pass. Imagine all the fame you'll recieve when you leave. Imagine driving into the Winner's Circle and hopping out of your car. Imagine people cheering for you. Imagine being awarded a gold trophy, the biggest one in the world. Imagine yourself standing on your car and showing everyone in the stands your trophy. Now imagine you tripped and fell off your car. Then imagine you dropped the trophy. Then imagine it broke. Then imagine everyone became quite. Then imagine everyone laughing at you. Then imagine being famous for breaking your trophy and tripping off of your car. Keep imagining... Try not to have nightmares, though. |
