Random Dorm Pictures
(....aaaah... THERE'S a tacky font color)
In the late autumn of 1997, the floor below us in Taylor Tower decided to
put up a nice, happy message of "MERRY CHRISTMAS" with Christmas lights in
each windows. Our floor decided that we had to exercise our freedom of
speech rights with a little prefix. OUR message simply alternated between
"SANTA SEZ" (we didn't have enough letters for SAYS) and "SATAN SEZ." For
some odd reason, many complaints soon followed, and we all learned an
interesting civics lesson about bureaucracies and public speech. This
exceptionally blurry picture represents the only extant photograph of
that wonderful winter when "Satan brought us together."
Back in the spring of 1999, a group of us decided to stay in line
overnight with a few hundred of the geekiest people alive in order to get
tickets to Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Of course, we decided
to go in style, bringing our floor's well-known and well-travelled "Big
Gay Couch" to the theater in my little red wagon. Many important
life-lessons followed.
The Saint Valentine's Day Massacre
Some of the most interesting party stories somehow involved Brock's
February 14th birthday parties, dubbed "The Saint Valentine's Day
Massacre." Scott shall never live this down. Too bad he he wasn't
drinking some of that smoooooth Colt 45.
BattleBost Night
More of the Battlebost pictures will probably show up soon, but here's an
interesting improvisation that Brock came up with one night. What he was
improvising for, no one will ever know.
Anagrams
As a public service, RA's put up nice billboards on our floor, announcing
events and increasing our awareness of important issues. Now, we can't
let that happen, can we? Poor, poor Sarah.
Our first victim was originally "OUT OF THE CLOSET," which is kinda funny
as-is.

Next, we have "SPRING INTO PHYSICAL FITNESS." I couldn't find a
photo of another variation, which was "SHAGFEST INTO SNIPPY CLINTORIS." Yes, the "N" was
intentional.
And finally, "STUDY BUDDIES." This was just too easy, and sort of
cheating, since we didn't use the original letters.
