Chapter 52

As Jeff parked the car into a parking place in front of the hotel, Matt sighed, and stretched a little as he whispered for Angela to wake up.

Matt walked inside with Angela snuggled against him. The group stopped in front of the elevator and Matt looked over at Jeff. "You staying with Lita?" Matt asked looking at Jeff who stared at him.

Matt watched as Jeff glanced at Lita who shook her head. Jeff glanced at Matt and grinned, "Yeah I’m staying, you two gonna be okay?" Jeff asked looking at Matt who was holding Angela who snuggled against him her eye’s closed.

Matt sighed, "Yeah we’ll be fine, Angela’s tired she’ll probably fall asleep while I take a quick shower...." Matt said as Jeff grinned.

"Okay." Jeff said smiling.

Lita stared at Matt and smiled, "Goodnight Matt." She said as she leaned against Jeff who had pressed the button for the elevator.

"Night." Matt said softly hugging Angela gently.

Angela sighed hugging Matt and opened her eye’s, Matt was right she was really tired. She looked over at Lita and Jeff, "Hey." She said softly picking her head up from Matt’s shoulder.

Lita stared at her smiling, "What?" Lita asked looking at her.

Angela grinned, "I’ll see you in a little while....." Angela said softly as Lita smiled, letting go of Jeff she took a step and hugged Angela who had let go of Matt.

Lita sighed and whispered softly to Angela, "Have fun, I’m happy about this you know, I’m happy for you, I just want you to have a great time, feel whatever you’re gonna feel, and don’t be scared of it, you got it!?" Lita asked as Angela giggled. Angela smiled and shook her head.

"Night." Lita said smiling at Angela as the elevator door opened. Lita reached for Jeff’s hand and waved as she followed Jeff onto the elevator and the door shut.

Angela sighed turning back around to face Matt. Matt smiled at her and took both of her hands. He cleared his throat and smiled, "Hey Angie, I know your tired, but what would you say to taking a quick walk along the beach with me?" Matt asked meeting her eye’s.

Angela smiled, "Well, I dunno its kinda cool out, how would I ever keep warm?" Angela asked smiling devilishly at Matt.

Matt grinned, "I have an idea or two in mind..... you feel up to it?" Matt asked watching Angela smile blushing. He watched her gently bite her bottom lip and grin giggling. Matt leaned over and kissed her lips gently, quickly. "Come on." Matt whispered as he slide his arm around her waist and they started down the hallway away from the lobby and out toward the back of the hotel.

Once outside they walked silently out onto the beach. Angela shivered as the wind blew around her, and she hugged Matt tighter as they continued along. As they walked, the lights from the busy Vegas strip reflected off of the waves as they hit along the shore, causing the water beating against the surf to look like diamonds. It was still to early for the sun to come up, however the moon was bright and low reflecting also against the ocean. Matt stared up at the stars and smiled, he felt happy, like he could float away, Angela felt warm against him, and he sighed happy to have her with him.

"Its beautiful isn’t it?" Angela asked staring out at the water, and up towards the stars were heaven wasn’t far. Matt grinned glancing at her, Matt watched Angela’s eye’s as they stared out at the water for a long time, then they closed.

Matt sighed, watching the way the wind blew her stray strands of hair about her face and around her neck, he grinned. She was beautiful. Matt stepped closer to her, and slide his arms around her waist. Angela snuggled against him wrapping his arms tighter around her, Matt’s cheek touching hers. "Its exactly like you......" Matt said whispering, as he began kissing her cheek softly.

Angela closed her eye’s as she felt a tear run down her cheek. Matt made her so very happy and she felt herself falling more and more in love with him, now more then ever.
