Chapter 5
The group sat in the locker room for maybe a half an hour or so talking, when there was a knock on the door.
“Come in!” Jay yelled as he yawned.
They all looked towards the door as Lita walked in.
“Hey guys!” She said smiling as she came over and sat across Jeff’s lap.
“Hey Lita you hear about Matt’s new crush?” Jay asked looking at Lita who was leaning against Jeff.
Lita looked at Matt, and smiled, then she rose from Jeff’s lap and spoke, “I knew you would like her!” She said giggling.
Matt smiled shrugging.
“This is so cool! Oh my gosh Matt I am gonna so hook you up! This is so awesome! I’m so happy!” Lita said giggling as she went and hugged him.
“Thanks...” Matt said softly.
“So have you seen her yet?” Lita asked sitting on the edge of the couch near Matt.
“No, not since I met her earlier today...” Matt said as he trailed off.
“Well come on!” Lita said as she went to the door.
“No way!” Matt said looking at Lita who took a few steps back into the room.
“Why not?” Jeff asked as he glanced over at Matt.
“Because, what would I say, what would I do?” Matt asked as Jay and Adam stared at him in agreement with Jeff.
“Who cares, you said nothing to her this afternoon that was important, so why does it matter what you say to her now?” Jeff asked as he rose and went to Lita’s side.
“Well because I don’t want to look stupid, I like her and I don’t want her to think I’m an idiot!” Matt said sighing.
Lita giggled, “Matt your so cute when your confused!” She said as she took Jeff’s hand.
“That’s cool Matt...” Jeff said smiling at him, “you don’t have to go see her now if you don’t wanna... besides you’ll see her later anyways!” Jeff said staring at him.
“Yeah...” Matt said shrugging.
“Hey Jeff do you wanna go get something to eat? I’m starving!” Lita said looking at him as Matt and Jay and Adam watched.
Jeff shrugged smiling at her, “Sure,” Jeff said as he looked back to the guys, he smiled, “I’m gonna go, I’ll be back in a little while.”
They watched as Lita and Jeff left the locker room.
Adam spoke then looking from Jay to Matt. “Is there something going on between those two or somthing?” Matt and Jay looked at each other and then to Adam, both of them starting to laugh.
“Duh!” Jay said laughing more.
Matt stopped laughing and sighed.
