Chapter 37
Matt followed Angela breathlessly up the ramp after she won her match against Stacey Keebler. Matt had fought against Bradshaw and with Angela’s help he had won. Then when Angela had her match - Matt ran out to help her when Devon was trying to hold her so Stacey could hit her. She won with his help.
Matt got backstage and saw everyone hugging her and laughing, and yelling and telling her she was really good, Matt was taking deep breaths - he was tired. Matt was leaning against the wall with Jeff who handed him a water bottle. Matt gulped half of it down and pulled his hair back into a neat ponytail. He watched Angela laughing and talking excitedly. He was glad she had a good time.
"Good job helping Angela Matt!" Jeff said softly smiling at Matt as he watched Angela who was smiling and hugging Ruby.
Matt grinned at Jeff shaking his hand. "Thanks." Matt mumbled tired.
Matt sighed closing his eye’s as he sank down into a chair next to him. Matt rubbed his forehead yawning.
After a few moments some friends came over and told him he was good and congratulated him on a successful match. Matt smiled thanking them softly. Matt watched a few people leaving to go do other things and he sighed stretching as he stood. Matt felt sore his body hurt, he wanted to go take a shower and relax for a little while.
He looked up as he heard giggling. Lita was now hugging Angela and they were talking excitedly back and forth. Jeff was down the hall talking to Shane, and Matt leaned against the wall hoping to have a minute alone with Angela.
Down the hallway.....
Lita hugged her giggling, "You were so good! I’m so happy you had fun!" Lita said smiling cheerfully as she looked up at Angela.
"It was so fun! It was awesome, I mean the music hearing the people cheering, I can’t wait to go out there again!" Angela said giggling.
Lita smiled and glanced down the hallway seeing Matt rubbing his arm, obviously waiting to talk to Angela. She grinned, "I think someone’s waiting for you......"Lita whispered looking at Angela as she looked down towards Matt.
Matt looked so cute, standing there rubbing his arm, his shirt completely buttoned, breathing heavy. He was so cute!. Angela giggled softly smiling at Lita.
"I’ll meet you a little later......?" Angela said softly smiling at her.
Lita smiled shaking her head, "Good job!" Lita whispered as Angela smiled and started to walk away down the hall towards Matt.
Matt’s eye’s were closed and he felt sore, he just wanted to have Angela back tight in his arms then he’d feel better, he sighed rubbing his arm. It hurt a lot and he thought he might go get it checked out a little later.
He took a deep breath, yawning. He opened his eye’s looking up at Angela who touched his hand softly sliding her hand into his. Matt smiled at her and he gently squeezed her hand.
"Hi." Angela said softly smiling at him.
Matt stared at her, her eye’s sparkling, and sweet. "Hi." Matt said pulling her closer. Angela smiled hugging him. Matt held her close gently holding her, feeling her breathing against his neck, she felt so good to have back in his arms.
Angela shivered knowing she was in his arms -his shirt unbuttoned, his skin was so warm against her body, she smiled at just the sensation of his touch. He had such and amazing body, he was so sweet and he was very sexy, she closed her eye’s smiling as she snuggled warm and safe in his arms.
Angela snuggled against him as Matt whispered, "You were so good! You totally kicked ass! I’m so impressed, you were great! I’m really proud of you, you absolutely amazed me, I’d hate to have to face you, I’d get my ass kicked!" Matt said chuckling as Angela smiled picking her head up from his shoulder and stared at him.
"Like I told you, you don’t want me to have to hurt you!" Angela smiled giggling. Matt smiled touching her cheeck. She could hurt him however she wanted! She could wrestle with him any day or night of the week! - Matt thought smiling at her.
"What’d you think?" Matt asked staring at her.
Angela smiled giggling, "It was really exciting! I had the best time, it was so fun, I could hear the people, and the music and I nailed everyone of my punches and got every move down, it was so exhilarating, I had a lot of fun! I can’t wait to go out and do it again!" Angela smiling at him, "And you! You were great to, I thought you were awesome! Matt you’ve helped me so much!" Angela said as Matt laughed.
"You were awesome, not me......" Matt said softly smiling at her chuckling.
"No Matt, seriously thanks for your help, I don’t think I would have had as good a time if it weren’t for you being here for me all night long, you helped write such a great script for me and everything, you’ve helped me so much, I think your....... unbelievably incredible, really........thanks so much, it means so much to me..... just to have you!" Angela said smiling at him.
Matt took a deep breath smiling, she could have him, as long as he could have her! "Your welcome. You really were great, I couldn’t look away, your..... addicting, your really incredible yourself Angela......" Matt whispered as Angela snuggled in his arms hugging him.
"Matt your so sweet!" Angela whispered close to his ear making him shiver, she was so incredible, Matt was so excited to be spending the whole evening with her, tonight after was the night that Matt was going to finally kiss her! Hopefully!
