Chapter 28
Later.... that evening, Matt called Vince and asked if he could meet with him to work on the script for Smackdown, and Angela’s debut.
Matt hung up the phone and sat down on the couch. Jeff was watching TV, and he glanced over at him, “You gonna meet Vince?” Jeff asked changing the channel.
Matt grinned, “Yeah, I’m supposed to meet him in the restaurant down in the lobby around 7 so we can work on it.” Matt said sighing as he sat back and closed his eyes. He was tired.
Angela had left a while ago with Lita, they decided to go shopping with some of the girls. Jeff turned the TV off and stared at him. Matt opened his eyes and glanced at him as he got up and went into the bathroom. He stared at himself for a moment and sighed. He looked up in the mirror and saw Jeff standing in the doorway. Jeff walked toward him and stared at himself.
“You ask Lita out yet?” Matt asked softly sitting down on the toilet seat.
Jeff jumped up and sat on the counter he leaned back against the mirror and sighed, “Not really, I told her that I needed her, but I didn’t actually ask her out, not yet anyways.” Jeff said softly. Matt smiled. Jeff rubbed his forehead gently, “So what do you think your gonna do for the script?” Jeff asked smiling at Matt.
Matt frowned, “I dunno yet, I know what I hope will eventually happen but Idunno how to start her debut! I guess I’ll think of something, besides Vince will most likely have a few good ideas too.” Matt said shrugging.
Jeff took a deep breath, “You should make the script so that eventually you and her will become a couple on the show, I mean if you two have to act out a kiss, maybe you might be able to kiss each other for real! Not just because you’re acting!” Jeff said smiling.
Matt chuckled. He sighed, “I know. Jeff I wanna kiss her, I like her, she’s awesome, I just I can’t seem to get myself to do it, as much as I want to! I want everything to be perfect before I kiss her. It has to be romantic, and I’ll just… I’ll know when it is!” Matt said softly thinking about her.
Jeff shrugged, “I think you should just kiss her already!” Jeff said standing.
Matt looked up at him, “I know, I know…” Matt sighed.
“I thinks that Angela really likes you, Lita says that Angela wishes that you would just kiss her!” Jeff said smiling at him.
Matt stared at him for a moment and glanced to the floor, “I wish I could just kiss her too!” Matt said sighing as he went into the other room to get some clothes so he could get changed to meet Vince.
