Matt was sitting in there locker room with Jay and Adam when Jeff returned.
“Hey did Lita win?” Adam asked as Jeff flopped onto the couch next to Matt.
“Yup, she kicked some serious ass! She was awesome!” Jeff said smiling.
“Good for her!” Matt said smiling at him.
“So what happened with Angela?” Jeff asked smirking at Matt.
Matt sighed as he smiled. “We just talked,” Then he cleared his throat glancing at Jay and Adam, “Then we were interrupted, and then she left!”
Jeff chuckling looked from Jay to Adam, “You guys have got to learn how to knock!” Jeff said laughing as Matt shook his head in agreement with Jeff.
“Matt how did they interrupt you?” Jeff asked sitting up staring at Matt who was smiling like a pumpkin.
Matt groaned, “Well we were sorta I guess about to...” Matt started to say when he was interrupted,
“Wait, wait lemme get this straight, you two were about to kiss when we showed up?!” Jay asked staring at Matt.
Adam and Jeff burst into laughter, and even Matt couldn’t help but laugh too.
“Yeah I think that’s what I’m saying.” Matt said when he stopped laughing.
“Dude Matt, next time, just tell us to get out, man I’m sorry!” Jay said reaching over patting his shoulder.
Matt chuckled, “It’s okay, I think it sorta helped with the weirdness.” Matt said smiling at him.
“So what are you gonna do?” Adam asked as he started drinking a second beer.
Matt shrugged, “I dunno, but guess what!” Matt said excitedly smiling at his friends.
“What?” Jeff asked as he went to get a beer for himself.
“Angela isn’t debuting tonight, she asked Vince if she could wait till Thursday, and get this...” Matt said pausing, “She asked if she could start her storyline with me!” Matt said his eyes wide as he looked from one guy to the next.
Jeff smiled at him, as Jay and Adam chuckled. Matt stared at his friends bewildered, “What?” Matt asked very confused.
Jeff sighed, “Matt we knew that was gonna happen, dude its so obvious that she’s into you! Lita even thinks so!” Jeff said smiling at him.
Matt sat silent for a few moments watching his friends, “You guys really think she likes me?” Matt asked shivering.
“Duh!” Adam said chuckling. Jay grinned shaking his head.
“Matt!” Jeff said loudly, as he reached over and grabbed Matt’s arm, “You said that you and her were about to kiss, why would she be about to kiss you if she wasn’t into you?” Jeff asked staring at Matt, who was confused, and deep in thought.
Matt shrugged, Jeff did have a point. Why would she? He couldn’t think of any reason. He slowly began to smile.
“I hope she likes me!” Matt said softly as he set his head back and stretched.
Jeff chuckled, “I’m sure she does!” He said as he took another gulp of his beer.
