1989 Honda Accord LX

This has been a great student car!  I'm going back to school and just can't keep it in NYC.  There are a few issues, but I can assure you that I drive it regularly.

Features:

- Brand New Tires (they've been hardly used - no more than 5,000 mi)

- Everything is working - Transmission, Brakes, etc.

- NICE Radio-Cassette (SONY - not original); Detachable Face.

- Yonkers, NY: Location is very convenient for buyers in NYC and area; Only 20 minutes from Manhattan.

- Inspection sticker valid until 7/06

- Upholstery is fine.  Controls work fine.

- Air Conditioning (haven't used it in a while) and Power Windows (Work great!)

- Muffler and whole exhaust system recently replaced with warranty (Muffler-only)

- Recently changed fluids (oil change, power-steering fluid, etc.)

Car Issues:

        - Has a cracked front-left spring; the mechanic has warned not to take it "hard" on the car.
The replacement piece costs about $100, but the mechanic also warned that when one
traditionally replaces the spring, one should replace the struts as well. (crack is on the
            very bottom of spring)

         - The car has idling issues sometimes (most in wetter weather).  This has been a problem
off-and-on with it for years.  Basically, the real issue here is when you put your foot on the
clutch for an extended time it might stall sometimes.  Changing gears and once it is in gear,
runs perfectly.  The nuisance is at red-lights and the such: can just put your foot on the
           accelerator slightly.

         - Glove compartment: has a broken lock, so it remains open at all times.  Not an issue, since
the light turns off with the car.  Can just tape / tie it shut.

         - Slight wear on exterior of car.  Slight blemish that I fixed near the rear tires.  Front driver's
side door has slight wear (see picture).  This causes door to creak when opened /
           friction against the metal door.

In summary, this has been a great car for local transit.  It evidently has some issues, but honestly, I still drive it daily.  I just had it inspected last month so the sticker should be good for year.  The mechanic said the engine was working well with no issues.

Bidding Information:

- Please bid ONLY if serious

- Can take almost any kinds of payments; preferably not personal checks.  Although, Paypal would probably be best.
- Buyer should plan on coming to pick up in Westchester.  You can take either Metro-North or Bee-Line.  I could drive it to somewhere in the region; ie, we could meet at the subway or something in the Bronx / Manhattan.

- Trying to deal with ASAP, so if you buy, expect delivery/meetup as soon as you would like.

HAPPY BIDDING!
