The most famous football club in the world would not be complete without a famous stadium to contend in. Built in 1910 to house Manchester United, Old Trafford is one of the most famous stadiums in the world. The stadium often refered to as "the theater of dreams" has long history of famous matches as well as memorable moments. Footballers all over the world have such a mutual respect for the theater of dreams that it is considered as one of the most prideful stadiums to play in. Not only is Old Trafford the home field of Man United, but it is also considered the home field of the English national squad.
In it's history there has been a lot of talent that has passed through the pitch at Old Trafford. Starting out as a fairly good sized stadium, Old Trafford has evolved into one of the biggest stadiums in the world with seating capibilities of almost 68,000. Throughout the years it has gone through termendous changes as a structure. Now it is a state of the art, technologically advanced staduim with its own museum, cafe, gift shop and private viewing areas. You can see from the pictures below how the stadium grew over time.
