Come on out, join the fun and learn the art of making stone
tools. We meet at Hart Memorial Park. This location provides lots
of fun with it's 370 acres along Kern River and paddleboats on
Hart Lake.
Directions To Monthly Knapin
From Bakersfield Highway 58 going East out of town exit Camanche Dr. and turn North (left). Follow Camanche Dr. for 8-9 miles to a stop light (Hwy 178). Go straight, the name will change to Alfred Harrel Highway. Follow Alfred Harrel for 7-8 miles into Hart Park. When entering the park stay to the right. About 100 yards in on the right you will find us. We are a easy find once there, a big flintknapping demo banner is present also. Weather can play a part...but it takes a lot for us to cancel.
