HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR SPEAKS AT ACHS

Many are familiar with the harrowing story of Anne Frank, and the atrocities of World War II.  Yet few young people have had the opportunity to see and talk to a Holocaust survivor.  This spring, two freshman English classes were fortu

nate enough to have their lessons come to life and were able to interact with a Holocaust survivor.
     Mrs. Rose Rechnic, a Holocaust survivor, educated the two classes about her experiences at the concentration camp Auschwitz

as well as her struggle to regain her life after the war.
